I understand where you are coming from. But take into consideration that you work with people with mental health issues, that’s not whom I’m writing for.
I disagree with the ‘judgmental’ comment though ;) The comment was an invitation for people to take ownership of how they react. There are many cases when, two people face the same event and one suffers and the other one not. That’s what mindfulness or ACT (Acceptance Commitment Therapy) address when they say that “we create our own suffering.”
