Thanks Ned Dodds I like the distinction you make between forgiving the person and the act. Agree that praying or meditating on compassion towards the offender is an awesome practice. Though, as you mention in your response, it’s not easy for ‘beginners.’ It requires some practice letting go on our grudges before we can get there. But we should all aim to feel compassion towards the people that caused us harm.
