Hi, Niklas Göke Great post, as usual. I love how you present self-awareness as a cognitive state, not a character trait.

One comment though. This question (‘how much time…” confuses me a little. Observation or introspection doesn’t equal to increased self-awareness. Some people get stuck in constant introspection without necessarily getting to know themselves better. Also, self-awareness requires ‘external self-awareness’ as Dr. Tasha Eurich calls it — other people help us uncover our blindspots (the unknown unknowns).
